College Football Preview for Week 9

The college football betting is getting intense as teams jockey for position in the BCS standings. Top ranked LSU gets to sit on its win over Auburn until November 5th when it takes on number two Alabama. In the meantime, a lot of other undefeated college teams are trying to make their case for a trip to the championship game in January. Here is a look at how the top price per head teams should fare this weekend in college football.

Stanford (-7 ½) @ USC – October 29

Number seven Stanford takes its 7-0 record on the road to take on the 6-1 USC Trojans. The Trojans rank at number 20 on the AP Top 25 poll, but USC fails to crack into the BSC top 25 rankings. The Stanford offense is still potent thanks to future NFL quarterback Andrew Luck. But the USC defense may be able to keep this one close and help the Trojans to win against the spread. But as a straight-up pick, you have to go with Stanford on this one.

Pick: Stanford

Baylor @ Oklahoma State (-14 ½) – October 29

Oklahoma State is ranked third on the BCS and AP top 25 polls. The Baylor Bears are pretty much getting served up to Oklahoma State in this game as the Bears do not have nearly the defense necessary to stop the Cowboys’ offense. It would be a betonline scam to suggest that Baylor can cover the spread on this one. Take Oklahoma State and the points.

Pick: Oklahoma State
