College football betting got knocked off track a little by news of the Penn State sexual misconduct scandal by a former coach. Head coach Joe Paterno is not part of the scandal, but his program will be dealing with the issue for some time to come. Penn State joins Ohio State and USC as programs recently rocked by scandal.
To try and get focused back on football, the price per head sports fans head back to the college football stadiums to root for their favorite teams as the bowl bids start coming out and the national championship is getting closer.
Western Kentucky @ LSU (-41 ½)
LSU took over sole possession of the number one spot in the country with a win over Alabama last week, but it was not very convincing. Western Kentucky has nothing to offer in this game, but it will be interesting to see if LSU covers the spread.
Pick: Take Western Kentucky with the points
Alabama (-16 ½) @ Mississippi State
Mississippi State does have enough of a defense to keep this game as respectable as possible, but the Alabama offense has way too much to prove after not being able to come through in week 10.
Pick: Alabama
Oklahoma State (-17 ½) @ Texas Tech
New number two ranked Oklahoma State is no bet online scam. Oklahoma State deserves to be in the discussion about the BCS title game and the Cowboys will make their stand against a Texas Tech team that has a pretty good offense of its own.
Pick: Oklahoma State
