NCAA Week 4 Football Betting – Conference schedules lead to great matchups

As the NCAA football season gets deeper into the season, the meetings hold more and more importance, and Week 4 is a prime example of this. Here are five to watch this week:

Ole Miss vs South Carolina odds (Thursday, 8:30 PM ET)

The No.4 Rebels are out to avenge a 31-24 loss at home to the Gamecocks in 2007, but they’ve won their last two trips to South Carolina. They’re 3.5-point favorites on the road in this Thursday night matchup, but South Carolina’s defense is tough.

Miami vs Virginia Tech odds (Saturday, 3:30 PM ET)

The No.9 Hurricanes may wrap up a top-five spot with a win, but the No.11 Hokies will be backed by one of the craziest crowds in college football. Virginia Tech, who are a 2.5-point favorite in your offshore sportsbook, has won four of their last six against the Hurricanes, but they fell 16-14 in Miami last year.

Cal vs Oregon odds (Saturday, 3:30 PM ET)

The No.6 Golden Bears have won four of their last five against the Ducks, who are coming off an “upset” of then-ranked Utah. Cal has put up 146 points in three games, and Oregon’s defense isn’t the most stout in the country.  Cal is a 5.5-point favorite on the road.

Arkansas vs Alabama odds (Saturday, 3:30 PM ET)

The Razorbacks are a 17-point underdog when they visit the No.3 Crimson Tide, who some feel are the best team in the country right now. Alabama has romped everyone they’ve played, and they’ve won three of their last four against the Razorbacks.

North Carolina vs Georgia Tech odds (Saturday, 12:00 PM ET)

This was supposed to be a bigger matchup, but the Yellow Jackets fell out of the rankings with their loss to Miami. The No.22 Tar Heels are 2.5-point underdogs at Georgia Tech, but despite their 28-7 home win last year, they’ve still dropped eight of their last 10 against the Yellow Jackets.
